HP Cloud Service Automation versus OpenStack Heat

A recent customer engagement surfaced the above query.

The following presentation highlights that this is simply not a valid comparison.
HP Operations Orchestration which is the orchestration engine within HP Cloud Service Automation is the correct product to compare OpenStack Heat against. However, there really is no fair comparison here as Operations Orchestration is a mature, enterprise wide tool whereas Heat has been designed primarily for OpenStack IaaS.
Basically, HP Operations Orchestration can do everything that Heat can do plus a heck of a lot more. If it’s got network connectivity with either API or command line access then HP Operations Orchestration can automate it.
HP Operations Orchestration also has a very sophisticated drag & drop GUI for rapid flow development and debug.
