I had a play with Mike Bostock’s wonderful javascript library, D3JS, over the holidays and in particular this chart. As soon as I work out how to wrap it in the previous Flask app I’ll post the repo details here. This lets you quickly visualise the capacity usage within your contract – yes I know textual reports do the same thing but this is far more fun 🙂

I have developed a capacity report script that queries a K5 contract and generates the json file necessary to produce the outputs below – interactive bubbles. Once again, as Fujitsu K5 is based on OpenStack, you should be able to use this script with other OpenStack platforms too.
